Overview
Removing and fitting flexible plastic fuel hose on an In tank fuel pump assembly during a fuel pump replacement without specialty tools can be a difficult task and potentially create areas where fuel under pressure may be released in the fuel tank and cause many performance and drivability problems.
The EQP-029 fuel hose removal and fitting tool has been developed as a quick and simple means of securing the old or new fuel hose during the removal and fitting procedure.

The specially designed clamp pliers allows the fuel hose ends to be attached to the fuel pump and housing fittings minimising any damage to hose and fittings and preventing any leakage.
The EQP-029 can be used on both fuel pump outlets with or without barbs, but it is important to fit a suitable clamp using an EQP-020 on the fittings that do not incorporate barbs to ensure a correct seal.
